PEMF THERAPY

What Is PEMF Therapy?

PEMF therapy is the application of pulsed magnetic fields to the entire body and targeted areas of issue. PEMF is cellular exercise based on the principles of pulsed electromagnetic field therapy. Exercising the cells in this way allows for an exchange of fluids. Toxins are expelled, and fresh minerals, nutrients, and water enter the cell, stimulating optimal function.

How Does PEMF Work?

The voltage of a healthy cell is about -20 to -25 millivolts. We start to get sick when that voltage drops below -15 millivolts or less. Once our cells’ voltage drops below that level, they are unable to heal and become dysfunctional. By inducing a mild electrical magnetic current into damaged cells, PEMF therapy slows or stops the release of pain and inflammatory mediators, increases the blood flow of the cells, and re-establishes normal cell interaction. With reduced inflammation, pain decreases, energy increases, and faster tissue healing occur.

PEMF therapy does not treat medical conditions; instead, it up-regulates the body’s own ability to heal itself naturally by replenishing the natural charge that exists in healthy cells. When your body is healthy you sleep better, experience more energy, and are less likely to experience pain and inflammation.

Is it safe to use on anyone?

No, anyone with implanted electrical devices including pacemakers, cochlear implants, intrathecal pumps, etc., cannot use PEMF because the magnetic field can disable or shut the devices off. Persons with active bleeding or hemorrhaging conditions or during heavy menstruation cannot use PEMF. PEMF has not been proven safe for pregnant women. People with organ transplants on immunosuppression should not use PEMF.

Can we use PEMF on people with stents or metal implants?

Yes. The magnetic field will not go through metal but will go around implants to the surrounding tissue.

Is PEMF therapy FDA approved?

In 1979, the FDA approved PEMF Therapy for the healing of nonunion fractures. In 1998, the FDA approved PEMF Therapy for urinary incontinence and muscle stimulation. In 2006, the FDA approved PEMF Therapy for treatment of depression and anxiety. In 2011, the FDA approved PEMF Therapy for the treatment of brain cancer.

Who benefits from PEMF?

Everyone in the modern world is subject to environmental stresses that can challenge optimal wellness. Today, our bodies rarely make direct contact with the earth which puts us closer to the inherent electromagnetic fields of energy from the earth. The charged atmosphere above us is a standing wave of energy that is stimulated thousands of times a second by lightning and an environment that humans evolved in. Today, these natural energies are no longer experienced by people in their pure form. With the establishment of mobile internet, WiFi and data transmissions, exposure levels have reached an unexpected dimension and quality. Therapeutic PEMF devices operate at an extremely low frequency, are non-ionizing and have been used safely around the world for decades. PEMF is an outside energy source that recharges stressed, underpowered cells like the batteries they essentially are so they can meet the energy demands for optimal cell function.

What can I expect after the first session?

You will feel energized and this feeling can last for a few hours or less after a session. Take note how long this feeling last; it tells
your technician how many sessions you will need to achieve your goals. If you feel tired after a session, this may be due to a detox reaction. Your body wants to clean the house and is getting rid of toxins. Resting and drinking plenty of water may support this detox reaction.

How much PEMF Therapy Sessions do I need?

The human body is complex, and everyone is different, therefore it is impossible to come up with an exact number on how many PEMF sessions someone would need.

What are the benefits?

Pain Relief-Neck, Back, Joints
Athletic Recovery
Enhanced Muscle Function
I Decreased Inflammation
Stress Reduction
Improved Block.i Oxygenation
Bone Mending/wound Healing
Increased Circulation

What wave forms are used?

Our machine produces an impulse to create every pulse as a singular unique electromagnetic event. The impulse creates rectangular waves that “ring out” with sawtooth waves.

What makes PEMF therapy different?

By inducing a mild electrical magnetic current into damaged cells, PEMF therapy slows or stops the release of pain and inflammatory mediators increases blood flow of the cells, and re-establishes normal cell interaction. With reduced inflammation, pain decreases, energy increases, and faster tissue healing occur.
